A Collaborative Horror

Two women are connected by the notorious Gosforth Massacre of 1917, a murder case famous among true-crime fans and internet sleuths. The two women strike up an email conversation and begin an uneasy investigation into their mutual ancestor, Hattie Soak, who fled the scene of the crime.

The Night Visitors explores ghosts, obsession and inherited evil. ln this novella, the technology that connects us becomes the conduit of un-expiated evil in a story told entirely via an exchange of emails.

A collaborative horror coming April 2017.

About Dead Ink

Dead Ink is a small, ambitious and experimental literary publisher based in Liverpool. Supported by Arts Council England, we’re focussed on developing the careers of new and emerging authors.

We believe that there are brilliant authors out there who may not yet be known or commercially viable. We see it as Dead Ink's job to bring the most challenging and experimental new writing out from the underground and present it to our audience in the most beautiful way possible.

You don't simply buy a Dead Ink book, you invest in the authors and the books you love.
